Akiko - Akiko

Keeping with the Richard Carpenter theme, here is a CD released in 1989 and produced by Richard Carpenter. It is eerie and haunting how this singer sounds like the late Karen Carpenter!!! Richard wrote and sings background harmonies on most of the tracks. This CD is unbelievably amazing and will be loved by any Carpenters fan. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/5c2f192a

Scott Grimes - Scott Grimes

Released in 1989 and produced by Richard Carpenter, this CD is a true pop gem. Young Scott Grimes has a great voice and under Richard's guidance released an exceptional CD. Scott of course, as an adult, recently starred on the hit TV show "E.R." Scott also released a CD with a hard rock edge a couple of years back. I also have that CD if anyone is interested. Richard Carpenter - Time

Richard released this CD in 1987 and it was, of course, produced and arranged by Richard himself. He does most of the lead vocals and all of the background vocals. There are some guest vocalists like Dusty Springfield, Dionne Warwick and Scott Grimes and Herb Alpert plays solo trumpet on "When Time Was all We Had" which is a tribute to Richard's late sister, Karen Carpenter. I especially love the last track "I'm Still Not Over You". This is a great CD!!! Track 6 was co-written by Richard and Richard Marx. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/3eb5f3ba
