Nigel Olsson -Changing Tides

Released in 1982, this album is a true Westcoast treasure. I ripped this from vinyl. There are still a few pops and clicks but I have tried to remove most of them. This one is very difficult to find. Every track on this album is pheonominal. Elton John plays on "Showdown" and "Saturday Night". Steve Carlisle (WKRP in Cincinnati) provides background vocals on "If You Don't Want Me To" (His solo album appears on this blog, check it out). Also included is a cover of the Airplay classic "Should We Carry On". Here is the download link: http://www.multiupload.com/W10932HXH4

Sergio Garcia was kind enough to remaster this to a better quality download. Here is his link:

Robert Lamm - Life Is Good In My Neighborhood

Released in 1993, only in Japan and produced by Phil Ramone, Chicago member Robert Lamm released this solo CD featuring songs written with Randy Goodrum (Tabla & In This Country) and David Foster/Tom Keane (When Will The World Be Like Lovers). This is one fantastic CD!

Paul McCartney - "I Love This House" Young Boy EP

In 1997 David Foster produced the song "I Love This House" for Paul McCartney and it appeared only on this EP and was part of a medley called "Oobu Joobu Part 1". I have seperated this song from the rest of the medley. This one is a rare one as it took me many years to find it. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/2f07b2cc

Released in 1975 on Elton John's Rocket Records label this album features songs co-written by David Foster who also played keyboards on many of the tracks. Elton John, Davey Johnstone and Dee Murray played on "Only One Woman". This was ripped from a vinyl LP. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/435fed41

Neil Diamond - I Dreamed a Dream (single)

Released in 1987, this song from "Les Miserables" was recorded by Neil and produced by David Foster. Available only as a single and only on vinyl this studio version is a must have for Neil Diamond and David Foster fans. This was ripped from a 45 rpm single. David Foster - Selecciones Latinas

This one was requested by klub9. This is a promo CD released by David's publishing company Peermusic. It contains 8 tracks of songs written by David and the last 3 are demos that do not list the names of the session singers that provided the vocals. Some are sung in Spanish and some in Portuguese. Scorpions - When You Came into My Life CD single

In 1997, the rock group, the Scorpions, asked David Foster to produce and arrange a new version of their song "When You Came into My Life". It was available on this CD single and was only released in Japan. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/a014d8c4

Mary Lu Zahalan - Zahalan

This one is certainly a Holy Grail for David Foster fans. Released in 1990 only in Canada this CD contains 2 noteworthy tracks. "Letting Go" was produced by David Foster and features Danny Peck on harmony vocals as well as David Boruff on sax. This is the classic "David Foster sound" that I miss since David seems to be producing a totally different sound these days. The other track is "Long Way From Loneliness" produced by Humberto Gatica and arranged by Tom Keane, Tom and Jason Scheff provide background vocals and again David Boruff plays sax. The rest of the CD is really good too. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/0bcf4243

David Foster & Lee Ritenour - Victory

Okay, now this one is ULTRA, ULTRA, ULTRA!!!!! RARE. This is an instrumental track written and performed by David Foster and Lee Ritenour. I'm not clear on the purpose of this track, it was either written for a Japanese commercial, sport event or movie. This is ripped from vinyl. It was only available as a 12 inch single and it took me YEARS to find it. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/50e1ef8f

Lou Rawls - Love All Your Blues Away

Released in 1986, this album was produced by Jay Graydon. This was ripped from vinyl. I have only included the "A" side of this album as it was the pop songs side. The "B" side was standards and not as good in my opinion. This album is notable because David Foster co-wrote the song "Learn to Love Again" and "Stop Me From Starting This Feeling" (the latter was also co-produced by David). Richard Page and Steve George sing background vocals on "Stop Me From Starting This Feeling" and Tata Vega sings duet on "Learn to Love Again". Great album!!! Paul Anka - Somebody Loves You

Someone on the "Late for the Sky" blogspot requested this one. This album is in my top 20 all-time favorites list. Released in 1989 this CD was only available in Europe and I believe only in Germany. I'm not 100% sure on that, but I think it is correct. This CD is pure pop heaven with great lush arrangements. It was produced by Humberto Gatica and Robbie Buchannan and most importantly, David Foster produced Track 10 "Stay With Me". I can't say enough good things about this CD. If you don't have this one in your collection then you are missing out. No David Foster collection is complete without it for sure. Dionne Warwick duets on "You and I". Here is the download link:

Please note: the download link has been removed at the request of the publisher on 4/13/2010.

Karen Kamon - Voices

This one was requested, so here it is. This one was ripped from a sealed vinyl LP. Released in 1987, this album has never been issued on CD. Karen is the wife of record producer Phil Ramone, so it is no surprise that Phil produced this album. Every track on this album is top notch. This one is notable because it includes the David Foster penned "Whatever We Imagine" which Karen performs as a duet with Peter Hewlitt. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/f77be60a

Deborah Blando - Unicamente

This is a CD that is probably missing from most David Foster fan's collections as this CD was only available in Brazil. Recorded in 1995 and 1996 and released in Brazil in 1997 this CD includes 2 tracks produced by David Foster. The tracks are "God's Creation" and "Innocence". A special bonus is that the background vocals on both tracks are done by the group Millenium, which is a Fifth Dimension kind of group that David Foster got together in the mid 90s comprised of members, Nita Whitaker, Suzette Charles, Wil Wheaton Jr, Joey Diggs and Warren Wiebe. I understand that an entire album was recorded but never released. What a shame.

This CD was recorded partially in Portuguese and partially in English. It really is a good CD. Listen to it several times over and it will grow on you. Brazilian artist, Deborah Blando has a really good voice in my opinion. Patrick Leonard, who produced Madonna and Peter Cetera to name a few, produced tracks 3,6 and 7. Naoko Kawai - Daydream Coast

Released in 1984 in Japan this CD contains 2 duets, one with David Foster and one with Peter Cetera. The rest of this CD is just marginal for me but well worth having just for the duets. It's not often that we get to hear David Foster sing!!!! Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/9f8e1c70

Naoko Kawai - 9 1/2 (Nine Half)

Released in Japan in 1985 this CD was produced by Tom Keane and Humberto Gatica and includes a duet with Steve Lukather on "Finding Each Other" which was written by Randy Goodrum and David Foster. The song was also produced by David. No AOR collection is complete without this one!!!! Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/47ad3497

Paul Hyde and the Payolas - Here's the World For Ya

I think that this is one of David Foster's most overlooked albums. He produced the whole album and cowrote several songs on it as well. This was released in 1985. Tracks 3, 4, 9 and 10 were ripped from a Greatest Hits compilation CD. All other tracks were ripped from a vinyl album. If you like David's albums that he did with the Tubes then you will love this album. I hope you like this album as much as I do. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/1587c7ba
