Paul Janz's 4th album. Released in 1992 only in Canada. Again, another great Westcoast/AOR CD. This one is in constant rotation on my iPod. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/c4c711ec (this link still works)

have really enjoyed all your posts. I think the older paul janz one (high strung) is so far my favourite of these two but this one has some catching songs like amazon rain and nice ballads youre never alone, always. Ive already ordered high strung on sealed lp and cd through musicstack as it must go in my vinyl and digital collection! Interesting to hear Paul Hyde and Payolas too. I had never seen this album mentioned by any aor sites. I dont have the old tubes records yet but I have Fee Waybill read my lips on LP. Foster went for a more rough production on read my lips as opposed to all the other albums I have from Foster done around the same time. I guess it was to suit the music of fee waybill. Still sounded great (on vinyl .... the cd version by BGO uk kind of sucked). Cheers again
ReplyDeleteYet remember a song by Russ Taff from album: Medal. There the song Silent love have credits:
ReplyDeleteSilent Love
Russ Taff
ComposiciĆ³n: Paul Janz, Elizabeth Janz , Russ Taff, Tori Taff, Crissie Grossman Puig, Robbie Buchanan
You knew my days from first to last
Before a single one had passed
And as the world was brought to be
You lovingly designed and crafted me
I walk along the path you trace
I feel your presence in each place
And if the darkness hides the day
Love's flowing out of you to light my way
Chorus:
Your silent love comes over me
In the stillness of my memory
I feel your touch
I've heard you call
Your silent love remains unchanged and strong
My deepest hopes and fears are known
No private thought that can't be shown
And every wounded place I see
Is drawing me to you and you to me
So as each moment passes by
I look to you to guide my life
For I have come to understand
That nothing can remove me from your hand
Repeat Chorus
And forever, my Lord
My heart belongs to you
For I need not see you to love
