Tom Keane - I Love A Gershwin Tune

Released in 2000 only in Japan. Tom took these classic standards and gave them a contemporary spin. The results are nothing short of fantastic. Tom's voice is well-suited to perform these songs. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/e1e2ff46

Tom Keane - Smoove' and Juicy Covers

Released in 2001, this is Tom's second solo effort released only in Japan. There are 3 instrumentals and 3 vocal performances. I wish that Tom had performed lead vocals on "Through the Fire", it would have been great to hear him sing his version of this great song. The 3 vocals on this CD are great. He sings on "Will You Still Love Me", the song he co-wrote with David Foster and Richard Baskin that was recorded by Chicago. Also there is the song "Loving Every Moment" which of course was recorded by Celine Dion on her first English CD produced by David Foster. Thirdly, there is "No One Emotion", which is another great song. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/65a764e6

Tom Keane - The Japanese Tracks

Track from this Japanese compilation is "Mystery Eyes".

Track from this Japanese compilation is "Star Ferry".

Track from this Japanese compilation is "Gone".

Tracks from this Japanese compilation are "The Girl in White" and "Lady Blue".

Track from this Japanese compilation is "I Will".

Here are some rare tracks to complete your Tom Keane collection. I believe I have all of the various Japanese tracks here. If anyone knows of any other Tom Keane tracks out there please let me know. Why this guy does not have a recording contract I'll never know. His voice is amazing to me. As you may know, Tom is one of David Foster's proteges. I believe that Tom spends most of his time producing Japanese projects and compilations. I would like for him to perform vocally a lot more. When Tom sings ballads like "Gone" and "I Will" it just blows me away. I hope you enjoy these tracks. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/92d80906

Deborah Blando - Unicamente

This is a CD that is probably missing from most David Foster fan's collections as this CD was only available in Brazil. Recorded in 1995 and 1996 and released in Brazil in 1997 this CD includes 2 tracks produced by David Foster. The tracks are "God's Creation" and "Innocence". A special bonus is that the background vocals on both tracks are done by the group Millenium, which is a Fifth Dimension kind of group that David Foster got together in the mid 90s comprised of members, Nita Whitaker, Suzette Charles, Wil Wheaton Jr, Joey Diggs and Warren Wiebe. I understand that an entire album was recorded but never released. What a shame.

This CD was recorded partially in Portuguese and partially in English. It really is a good CD. Listen to it several times over and it will grow on you. Brazilian artist, Deborah Blando has a really good voice in my opinion. Patrick Leonard, who produced Madonna and Peter Cetera to name a few, produced tracks 3,6 and 7. Keith Thomas - Kaleidoscope

Released in 1986, this is the composer/keyboardist/producer Keith Thomas' second solo effort and is ULTRA RARE. I have not been able to find his first solo album. This CD will be a treat for fans of David Foster's first solo CD "The Best of Me". Here there are some instrumental selections and "Imagine" especially reminds me of early David Foster. There are vocal selections here from Bebe Winans, Donna McElroy and Greg Guidry. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/ab4f43a2

Pauline Wilson - Intuition

Fans of Marilyn Scott and Wendy Moten's "Time for Change" CD will love this one. Released in 1992, only in Japan, the former lead vocalist for Seawind really shines on this solo effort. Carlos Vega plays drums on most of the tracks and Abraham Laboriel plays bass on most tracks. Take a chance on this one and give a listen. You won't regret it. Steve Camp - One on One

Released in 1986, this CD is notable because the background vocals are performed by Bill Champlin, Jason Scheff, Tommy Funderburk and Tamara Champlin. I remember reading an interview with Steve Camp about this album and he said that he had been a long time fan of Bill Champlin and he was nervous and excited that Bill was going to be performing on his album. Check out the background vocals especially on "Foolish Things" and "Mr. Brokenhearted". This is a great CD. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/867f9406

Naoko Kawai - Daydream Coast

Released in 1984 in Japan this CD contains 2 duets, one with David Foster and one with Peter Cetera. The rest of this CD is just marginal for me but well worth having just for the duets. It's not often that we get to hear David Foster sing!!!! Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/9f8e1c70

Naoko Kawai - 9 1/2 (Nine Half)

Released in Japan in 1985 this CD was produced by Tom Keane and Humberto Gatica and includes a duet with Steve Lukather on "Finding Each Other" which was written by Randy Goodrum and David Foster. The song was also produced by David. No AOR collection is complete without this one!!!! Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/47ad3497

Bill Meyers - The Color of the Truth

Bill Meyers is a composer/arranger. He released this CD in 1990. This is a great CD to play in the evening when the lights are down low. Sally Dworsky sings with him on "Just Say the Word" which is one of my Top 20 favorite songs of all time. Check the tags for the pheonominal list of musicians on this record. Paul Janz - Trust

Paul Janz's 4th album. Released in 1992 only in Canada. Again, another great Westcoast/AOR CD. This one is in constant rotation on my iPod. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/c4c711ec (this link still works)

Paul Janz - High Strung

Canadian artist Paul Janz released this album in Canada back in 1985. This is a fantastic Westcoast/AOR CD!!! Some of you may recognize the song "Close My Eyes" since Russ Taff recorded it on his "Medals" CD under the title "I'm Not Alone". This was ripped from the 2004 remastered CD. Let me know what you think. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/3d0be1d6

Paul Hyde and the Payolas - Here's the World For Ya

I think that this is one of David Foster's most overlooked albums. He produced the whole album and cowrote several songs on it as well. This was released in 1985. Tracks 3, 4, 9 and 10 were ripped from a Greatest Hits compilation CD. All other tracks were ripped from a vinyl album. If you like David's albums that he did with the Tubes then you will love this album. I hope you like this album as much as I do. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/1587c7ba
