Bernie Taupin - Tribe

Released in 1987, this is Bernie Taupin's 3rd album. His first was basically poetry readings, his 2nd was the AOR fav "He Who Rides the Tiger". This CD is great. All songs were written by Bernie and Martin Page. Martin Page also produced the CD. I have added 2 bonus tracks at the end "Backbone" and "White Boys in Chains" which are vinyl rips from 45s. These are B-sides that were not included on the CD. Elton John guests on "Citizen Jane" and "Billy Fury". Background vocalists include Tommy Funderburk and Hamish Stuart. Akiko - Akiko

Keeping with the Richard Carpenter theme, here is a CD released in 1989 and produced by Richard Carpenter. It is eerie and haunting how this singer sounds like the late Karen Carpenter!!! Richard wrote and sings background harmonies on most of the tracks. This CD is unbelievably amazing and will be loved by any Carpenters fan. Here is the download link: http://sharebee.com/5c2f192a

Scott Grimes - Scott Grimes

Released in 1989 and produced by Richard Carpenter, this CD is a true pop gem. Young Scott Grimes has a great voice and under Richard's guidance released an exceptional CD. Scott of course, as an adult, recently starred on the hit TV show "E.R." Scott also released a CD with a hard rock edge a couple of years back. I also have that CD if anyone is interested.
